Anyone else experiencing brown tap water in San Francisco right now?
UPDATE 12:30pm: Looks like whatever it was has been cleared. I guess it was some construction or a busted pipe around Twin Peaks. I’m running the bathtub water to make sure.

I am located in the Miraloma Park area of San Francisco.
Perhaps it is just a nearby reservoir?
If you are experiencing this and have a hot water heater, wash your hands with the hot water from it (even if it is cold.) Odds are, the water is still okay there in the interim.
I have confirmation from neighbors that they are also experiencing brown water. Could be a neighborhood thing.
